The kids were lukewarm on going to Canal Street to shop, but ended up having a great time and were very excited about their purchases -- and the experience!

And after all of our shopping fun, we headed to the airport from our super cute Brooklyn Airbnb rental!

And the girls gave Barrett kisses because he kept bugging them!

We had fun taking the ferry out to visit the Statue of Liberty

It was terribly windy!

So, so windy!

Since it is Kate's birthday, she -- of course -- picked visiting an art museum! The Guggenheim was her birthday pick! Trinity and Barrett have visited many museums on Kahle Quest, and they do not enjoy them. So, they talked Dan into taking them to Central Park!

When Kate and Dawn met up with Dan, Barrett and Trinity in Central Park, Barrett said, "Mom, this is the BEST place in New York City! Why did it take so long for us to come here to visit?!?!"

Kate picked Pok Pok in Brooklyn for dinner since it is a favorite for the New York foodie scene! The Thai Food was fantastic! Unfortunately, we had to wait a few hours since the food inspector decided to visit right after we were seated. Luckily we had Matt and Paul to entertain us!
